The restaurant, named after the famous Victorian photographer Julia Margaret Cameron, who lived on the island in the 1860’s, has a serene atmosphere with stunning views of the Shanklin and Sandown Bay “framed” by the trees within the grounds, and onwards to Culver Downs on a clear day.
The executive chef at Bourne Hall, has designed creative menus from carefully selected ingredients and seasonal produce from local suppliers on the Isle of Wight or near neighbouring counties across the Solent whenever possible.
Our talented chef additionally has years experience individually preparing meals for diners with special dietary needs such as vegetarian, vegan, lactose, wheat and gluten free (celiac), diabetic etc to name a few. Our diners have great pleasure being able to dine with us with safe knowledge that their meal is carefully being prepared to their specific requirement. (Prior notice is preferred).
The seasonal menu gives diners a variety choice for their evening meal and all meals are freshly prepared at the hotel, on the day and cooked to order.
The wine list includes carefully selected wines from around the world which are the ideal accompaniment to your dining experience.

All premier rooms and suites, with the exception of the Lady Osborne suite, are located in the “original” Victorian Country House. These rooms feature either four poster or sleigh beds, are more spacious and enjoy stunning views of the bay.
The majority of the classic rooms are located in the contemporary Albert of Beatrice wings, some with sea views, most with garden/countryside or courtyard views.
Family rooms are available to accommodate families with children over the age of 8 years.
All 30 rooms are fully en-suite, with colour TV including free-view, direct dial telephone, radio alarm clock, CD player, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities. Complimentary internet access is available in the drawing room and at reception and wi-fi is available throughout most of the hotel.

For a celebratory weekend, or special occasion we are able to arrange something extra on arrival or in your room during your stay. Ideas may include a fresh fruit basket, chilled sparkling wine or champagne, chocolates or flowers. Special breaks may also include beauty therapies & treatments.
All rates are inclusive of a full English breakfast and full use of the leisure facilities and VAT @ 20%.
Attractive ferry inclusive transportation rates are available on all crossings to/from the mainland to the island.
THE LADY OSBORNE SUITE
The Lady Osborne Suite has a romantic galleried four poster bedroom accessed by a spiral staircase from the comfortable and spacious lounge below.
THE DUKE SUITE
The Duke suite is located on the ground floor in the “original” house and enjoys diagonal views of the Bay which can be seen “through” the trees within the grounds.
THE DUCHESS SUITE
The Duchess suite also located in the “original” house, and almost identical to the Duke suite, but on the first floor enjoying views from a slightly higher elevation.
The four premier rooms at Bourne hall are all individual and enjoy many of the attributes of the Country House and enjoy magnificent views of the bay.

The perfect place to relax, recharge and refresh.
Located within the grounds of Bourne Hall, adjacent to the outdoor swimming pool, is the indoor leisure complex open daily from 8 o’clock in the morning until 8 o’clock in the evening for hotel residents, leisure members and their guests. Recently refurbished it features an indoor heated swimming pool (40 foot by 10 foot), a Jacuzzi, and a “far” infra red sauna.
Our pool is maintained at a warm, comfortable temperature of 84 degrees F, ideal for a few relaxing lengths. Why not start each day with a swim?
After a long and enjoyable day, it’s wonderful to sink into the bubbling warm waters of the Jacuzzi bath, let the jets massage you and ease any tired muscles. Enjoy the health benefits of the sauna and feel cleansed and exhilarated.
