The Miclaran holds a superb cliff top location in a quiet residential area between Shanklin and Sandown, enjoying stunning panoramic sea views over Sandown Bay to Culver Cliff.
At the bottom of our garden the coastal path offers beautiful walks between Shanklin and Sandown and steps nearby will lead you to Shanklin’s beautiful sandy beaches below. The bay is sheltered and offers safe bathing plus a variety of water sports such as canoeing, sailing and surfing.
Walk towards Shanklin and you will come across The Esplanade, Fisherman’s Cottage, Shanklin Chine and the picturesque thatched Old Village; in the opposite direction is Sandown with its Pier jutting out into the Bay and Culver Cliff forming a beautiful backdrop. When looking for somewhere to eat and drink you will be spoilt for choice in both Shanklin and Sandown with a range of tea rooms, cafes, pubs, bistros, bars and restaurants.
The Miclaran caters exclusively for adults (16 years minimum) and has a no smoking policy throughout. We pride ourselves on providing a high standard of accommodation, cleanliness and service.
